Alright...if a number of you think some of my artworks dip too far into the gutter you probably haven't seen other artist drawing FAR MORE explicit artwork with Peach, Daisy, Birdo, etc before....and yes I've seen Mario, Luigi and even Bowser down that lane as well. May it be rainbows, frilly dresses, or panty shots + chest exposure...they are G-rated characters, and yet people still do it. <--- Aren't I exaggerating on this now? <.<;

...heh, I bet I'm overreacting and making a fuss once more. -___- What's a little fun when bashing is involved? Yeah, sure sounds like a heck lot of fun to me.

Peh, sure makes my day like sunshine. >.>; Maybe I should stop caring, period because it certainly doesn't seem to me other artists do.

Argh, dang my mood rants. >___< That is why I chose to butcher up my gallery. You have less artwork to get hampered about. And, btw I know I draw suggested themes. I'm not a funny person, I don't draw things close to Nintendo, I even go out of the way and draw off-topic. I just draw. I'm just a stressed/crazy human artist.

Why are you doing Commissions now?

I need college funding, but honestly, I want help out my family's funding. So with my art skills (for whatever it may be worth) I'm giving commissions a try.

I've been thinking of trying them for quite some time and after much research (looking at other fellow artist's rates) and thought, I have decided to give it a try now. Also this is my first time, so for starters I am willing to take one commission for the time being.

Rules and General Guidelines

TIME
Normally stated, I take anything between 30 mins up to 3+ hours on a piece of artwork, but bear in mind it is solely the coloring time. Drawing the actual artwork by hand and performing touch-up finalization take additional time, which I have considered into the pricing. I will aim to finish in a week or so.

Completion time will vary depending on my available time, complexity and familiarity of the commission.


STATEMENT & AGREEMENT
I treat commissions as a professional contract, meaning that I take your "request" so to say, serious and to the best of my abilities and judgment.

Obviously I specialize in drawing Mario and anime characters and a few other things, but keep in mind that I may be unable to draw certain characters, poses, themes and such of the same caliber as my usual works.

Please keep in mind that I am still a developing artist.

Unless you specify how you want the commission to be drawn (head shot, bust, pose background choice etc), you give the artist (me) the freedom of however way the commission is to be completed by the set and acceptable standards.

I have the right to decline any commission I deem unreasonable or beyond my skills. Also I will edit this journal over time as seen fit. :3

If you request me to draw your character, please provide me with a picture link of your character for reference. Descriptions are acceptable, but be aware that I will draw based on my interpretation.

Please remember that commissions are paid services and chances for you to request an artist to draw something that you want. Unlike posted artwork, commissions are something that is done only for you.


RESTRICTIONS
I draw pin-up artworks and images.

-No comics
-Some word/bubble dialogue would count for an extra fee.
-No explicit/weird themes (referring but not limited to nudity, hentai, yaoi/yuri gore weird fetishes, etc)
-PG-13 nudity/gore and hinted themes are fine. (Keep it clean)
-No mechas/machines, etc.
I don’t have much real experience with them.

In other words, if your commission involves themes not seen in my gallery I most likely will be unable to take up your request, but it never hurts to ask.


PRICING (in USD) – So here are your 4 choices

Pencil – Regular hand drawn artwork done with a 2B pencil.
---Base Price: $3 (add $1 for each additional character)
---With background – add $0.50-$4 (depending on complexity)



Inked Lineart – Clean Lineart
---Base Price: $4.50 (add $1.50 for each additional character)
---With background – add $2



CG (Soft Brush) Coloring - using pencil art shading & color shading
---Base Price: $10 (add $2 for each additional character)
---Styled background: add $2-$6


a) $12 - 1 character, styled background
b) $14 - 1 character, styled background
c) $16 - 1 character, detailed background + special lighting

CG (Solid) Coloring – using inked lineart with pencil art shading + coloring
---Base Coloring Price: $7 (add $1 for each additional character)
---Detailed Shading: $12 (add $2 for each additional character)

---Simple Background: add $2
---Detailed Background: add $4-$10
---Special Lighting Fx: add $3


a) $18 - 2 characters, detailed coloring, semi detail background
b) $21 - 2 characters, detailed coloring, semi detail background + special lighting
c) $25 - 2 characters, detailed coloring, detail background + special brushes

Paypal gives you the option to make payments from different currencies. For example,

I highly suggest you check this out first. So basically, convert USD to your currency and that's the commission fee in your currency.

The commission will start upon acceptance and when payment is received. Please wait for me to confirm that I accept your commission before you submit payment. And of course, commissions are final.

If I conclude that I am unable to finish your commission due to difficulty or time constraints, I’ll refund your money.


What will you end up getting?
You will get a full resolution (w/o watermark, but maybe my signature) JPG or PNG file send to your e-mail. Also, you give the artist (me) all rights associated with the commission, including the option to post your commission in my gallery, unless you specifically request that I do not do so.


By commissioning me you agree to these standards I have set forth. If you have questions you can note me with the subject, “commission.”

As said before, my time on DA right now is pretty on and off. I can't even sit down for 5 mins, before another phone call comes in. >_<

I'll be rebuilding my gallery every now and then, so some stuff will be back and whatnot. Staring at just the 6 pics is a bit sad. -.-;

Now for the other things I need to address...

Brotherly Love
For now it will go into hiatus. I still feel a bit awkward about it, but I do intend to keep going, because well to sum it all up, not just because many of you want me to, but I do as well. ....'less of course you all went ahead and read the rest of the story...>.>;;; (my fault then) Time will tell.


Alone at Home
Okay, for this weird comic, it is looking up actually. Obviously still feeling weird and junk, but I worked hard (and had fun actually) on page 8 with whatever minimal time I've hand in the last 5+ days. So this will be updated before BL. :3

I still need to go through my msg bin. O___O I apologize for not getting back at you all, just give me time and I hope you understand.

Actually, DA is more on hold right now, because I happen to have (now?!) other things to take care of outside the net, -_____- and close to every day, it's keeping me away from my own things (might not be a bad idea, heh), but anyway, because of this, it will be even longer before I may get back and decide what to do about my depressed artist funk......I just don't know yet, just so you all know.

I haven't gotten the time to sit down properly to read your messages, but let it be known that I thank you all for your kind comments and support. I appreciate it very much.

Brotherly Love
If you didn't know by now, I ONLY illustrate the fanfic. It was written by my dear friend . The story is hers and hers alone and for those who have read the original fanfic, I was planning to add an epilogue to her final, but....

Robin's a good and humble friend. It's amazing. I've talked to her, because I was worried about how she felt with me illustrating her fanfic. She told me it doesn't bother her and is even happy that her story is known, but still...it doesn't feel right. She doesn't want me to stop either, but the reason why I might discontinue BL is because I feel like I'm taking over what she started. I feel like I'm taking all the credit, when the only thing I do is draw her story.

Sure I will add my own ideas at the end (if I ever even get that far), but there's nothing that came from me alone...I just draw. I'm just some fan who was so moved by her fanfic back then, that I decided to draw the first 6 pages of BL...

And even when I do come up with ideas....look at my other comic.


Alone at Home
While I received the support and ideas from you guys, everything is written and drawn by myself. But even so, my ideas are...convulsing. I know some of you have been waiting for page 8. While I was writing the script today, I just stopped typing and thought, "what is this #&($#?! This is some retarded gay sap."

Recently, I make Mr. L seem like a sex beast or something. Poking dirty jokes here and there with Luigi and Daisy. At first it was fun, but I dunno, I twitch at the sight of what I have done and yet I don't regret it. I like doing this, but it just doesn't seem right.

I deviate too far from what Nintendo does. I get reminded of this whenever I see others do something of the sort and then I see myself doing the just same...

The problem isn't the pressure of drawing itself (Heck, I enjoy drawing and I wouldn't stop for anything in the world.)

The problem is the SUBJECT.

ALWAYS. Why must I always make Luigi and Mario appear so different from what they are? Why must I draw them as something they aren't? Seeing them angsty, dark, being involved with dirty jokes (and while it was all in good fun) when in reality, they really are comical and funny? I can't help it. I just do it. I like it. It's fanart, but it bothers me to no end that it makes absolutely no sense at all. It's a love-hate complex and it bites being in one. -__-;

In other words....I'm making a shit (sorry...) lotta fuss out of myself. >.>;

I lack ideas. I lack creativity. I lack normalcy. I lack the notion to actually do something within the range of what the characters are supposed to be, and I lack the maturity of being an artist, because I draw what I want/enjoy to draw. I just don't understand why I can't accept it.

What I meant in the last journal wasn't just the comics, but what I draw as well. I tore my gallery down to shreds. It's still there obviously, but no comments or (can't avoid BL though since I promised it'd be up...) for a few days should make me grow up and act more like a person rather than some whiny ass brat. This is how I punish myself.

Peh, give a few days and I'll be back to normal...I'm being stupid.

I'll make this short and simple.

I don't feel like I have the heart to continue "Brotherly Love" nor "Alone at Home" anymore. BL will still be posted tonight, that much I owe.

Oh believe me, this isn't a spur of the moment thing. Many times have I come close to doing this. It's just today that I've hit the limit. No, I am not breaking a soap opera to you (pfff, probably am though -___-; ) I'm just extremely stressed right now, concerning the things I do on DA. >__>;

Whether I decide to explain myself properly, to the extend of the self-conflict I've endured for all the artwork I've done, may come later.

I just need a time out. Until then, ciao.
