Simple announcement.

Yes, the page will still be released, probably Wednesday night. HOWEVER Due to circumstances, frustration and lack thereof, it won't be colored...most likely.

It's all there though. It just doesn't have its colors...

I have yet to develop some way to color my pencil art properly. My self-esteem's been sapping. -_-;

Thanksgiving is coming up next week already!? O__o; Aside from having to get more academic work done, in terms of DA I come with good news.


Alone at Home:
Page 14 will be released on Nov. 25/26th
I'm trying to shoot for those days to get it done. Following the poll, presentation-wise it might not be as well colored as the previous pages, or be of the same quality, but I'm still working hard on it, and the special page that follows pg 14. The page seemed rather long (text-wise) so I hope you guys look forward to it.

I want to thank everybody who kindly commented on pg 13 after its 9 month break. The comments really made me happy. In fact, I still have the majority of those comments in my bin, even though I read them. XD;;

So, to anybody who wrote more than the usual and dropped off meaningful comments, I thank you, and you did inspire me to continue the series. Yes, you can keep it alive. X)

Starting Monday, hell breaks loose, with a full-fledged paper due in my Conversation class, another fat exam in I/O PSYCH. Working on that ATM. And gee whoopee, two more exams for my Cognitive & Physio PSYCH classes later on.

I can die.

Scratch that, I won't have a heavy intensive summer course load. It's been reduced, but because life's a b!*ch, it doesn't matter anyway. I won't be able to rest assured until I know for certain anyway between now and into next year.

Nothing good comes to honest people. You just get your head ripped off and stabbed from behind. You can be the best drawer, smartest student, funniest, meanest, or somebody with some neat talent, etc,...whatever, IN THE ENTIRE FREAKING WORLD....but with no courage or socialism, it's like it doesn't even matter at all.

You'd like a comparison on DA, for example? I'm sure you found a really good artist before, and yet by looks, practically nobody has said more than 10% compared to the number of they have, if they were fortunate enough.

Why bother applying to so many places, when nobody calls you anyway? I need to learn how to freaking lie. Everybody does. Nothing good comes to honest to good people. All they get is freaking trouble. They get the short end of the stick.

Why bother joining contest, when it goes by unrecognized? Chances of "winning" is similar to playing the lottery. The only reason why that exist is because everybody pours money in so that ONE or some people win it, while you don't get anything. So long as there's a chance to believe, is that it? And ah yeah and even if I tried commissions, you people would rather spend your money at the next burger joint, on games, with your friends, or for other good rational reasons. Why pay artists if you find artworks like sand on the beach?

Koji will be shackled to deal with an intensive course load for the summer term...

In short,

you'll see me even less often than before now. Here's to the one heck of a miserable summer followed by the grim fall semester of '09.

It's very clear I haven't drawn much FOR people. I have reasons. So then, do I draw for myself? Pretty much. I know that. Am I cold? Yes, I am.

In any case, three months ago I finished 2 (one of which I just posted) gift arts, and there are another good few or more for people I wanted to draw. Take it or leave it. People are busy. I know that all too well. To those and others, if it doesn't mean anything to you, just delete it. Gives me the right to do so too then.

I did the gifts because I wanted to, and if it's requested that they disappear, then let it be so as well.

I'm no almighty artist. I can't even draw something I've done for years w/o running into some kind of problem. Don't be naive thinking I can do a lot, just because you see a BIG A$$ NUMBER on the page views. I just draw what I enjoy, and keep practicing.

See what you do like from me, fine by me. See what you don't like from me, find it elsewhere from somebody else.

Simple.
