It's not very visible, but Luigi's pretty roughed up. Why? Maybe he and Mario got into a serious fight making him want to get away as far as he can from his brother.  As he walks alone in the rain, hoping nobody would see him in such a pathetic state......Luigi to runs into a certain someone in this cloudy scene... ARTIST COMPLAINTS: Yup, song inspired and I just had to draw it.  It's another of those "I've always wanted to draw" kind of pic,  but sadly this didn't turn out the way I wanted.  The brushes and rain splash make the image pretty busy...and I tried to cloud the lighting here. But I really like the coloring on them since it's inkless and solid in combination with a a soft background,  and...I HATE DRAWING UMBRELLAS! (it's off angled)  ....Layout kinda bothers me and I edited the lyrics a bit. I really, really like this piece.  Don't ask about Daisy's missing left eye. It's symbolically left out... Lineart: Music is beautiful...  Shading & Color: 1 hour & 5 mins. Layout: +53 mins Revision + 1hr (Soften edges, whited out the text a bit and coloring touch up.) |
