SURPRISE!

(Man...I'm off-season...)

Giving my sincerest congratulations to Monica Rupa, aka !! As many of you know, she is known for her humor, extensive comics, and artistic creativity, which has made her one of the most known Mario artists on DA. She completed one her comics [link] a few months back, ( I still need to finish reading it...>__<; ) and over time extended the Mario family tree, by introducing creative and plausible parents and children designs for the Marioverse.

As the holidays rolled in, I wanted to draw out all of her characters to congratulate her for her awesome work and blessing , and....lol well 'cause !

So...

Good job Monica! Here's a HEY-HO! Wootey for you! You rule.


In the process of doing this, I figure I'd fill in some holes, by designing Peach's parents myself. :3



ARTIST COMPLAINTS: (the SHORT version)
Well, this monster project ate my entire X-mas days! (yes DAYS!) I worked diligently to get this done for the 25th for Monica. I seriously should be drawing holiday pics instead. -_____-;;;

Each of the 7 pieces were individually worked on AT THE SAME TIME! (I ran into horrible PC memory shortage!) Drawing, prescan, inking, re-scan, transfer files, clean-up, linearting, base coloring, sizing, lettering, watermarking, and...freaking placing the LAYOUT! *heave*...don't ever work on 7 pieces at once...!

Plain coloring, because.....dude man shading for 7 freaking pieces after all this...I'll die! >___O;; Maybe I'll work on each of the 7 in detail. I've written actual profile pieces for each piece, while considering what Nintendo established, Monica's work and my own mix. It's all to come, maybe later on. I dunno, I'm exhausted after working on this.....I would truly appreciate an elaborate comment, but bleh...forget it. This whole thing has mistakes, and I'll discuss them in detail later on. (No, George isn't missing his hands. He has long sleeve clothes......I still effed up on it...)

Well, it's another ordinary (wet) Christmas for me... |3...at the very least I can hope my work here will brighten somebody else's day, even if it ISN"T a winter pic.

PROJECT BREAKDOWN:
Characters: All 12 (except the twins) were drawn within 24 hours...!!

Drawing: 4+ hrs
Inking: ~1hr & 5 mins
Lineart Preparation: 1+ hr
Base Coloring: ~3hr & 10 mins
Layout: ???? (no idea, but FREAKING LONG)

Total: 9+ hours.....

Note: I might have to delay BL's update. Please be considerate and understanding.
