It's old piece I finished some time ago.

I've always wanted to draw either Birdo or Wendy. 'Cause they're actually quite difficult characters to draw, even much more harder in an appealing and cute way, without making them look morphed or too different from their original designs.

As my very first shot and considering the time invested, I'm very content on the results. Left sides are the first reference trials so I could get used to them. Then I spun a little posy actions for the ones on the right.

The challenge with Birdo was mainly the snout. (I take my bets people are turned away by that.) I think I did pretty well in that department. The body/leg position on the twirling one is a bit awkward. Yet it's my favorite one here.

I tried to follow Wendy's original game design, although she seems to bear more resemblance to Kootie Pie. She's a female Koopa, so I wanted to give her some petite features via shapes and curves w/o exaggerating. I like extra big rings. :V

It was fun drawing other characters!
